One of the biggest players in the compact crossover game is the Nissan Rogue. In recent years, the Nissan Rogue has held one of the top spots on the list of best-sellers for the segment. Naysayers might be shocked to hear it, but you can’t just ignore the Nissan in an era where the compact SUV body style is king. The Rogue—which is a separate model from the Rogue Sport—continues to roll out year after year since its birth in 2007. What makes it stand alone against its rivals is its internal space.
2020 Nissan Rogue Seating
When the second generation of the Rogue began in 2014, the crossover was updated to fit three full rows of seating. This didn’t last long, as the 2018 model year reversed that design change to provide as much room for five passengers as the segment could allow. The 2020 Nissan Rogue follows that philosophy, providing ample head, shoulder, and legroom for its five passengers. The rear passengers sit on a split bench that folds down for cargo space when not in use.

2020 Nissan Rogue Front Head and Legroom
Starting with the front of the compact crossover SUV, the
driver and front passenger get comfortable Nissan seats. For those who sit tall,
the Rogue offers 41.6 inches of headroom. In terms of width, the Rogue also
provides 56.6 inches of shoulder room and 54 inches of hip room. Down below,
the vehicle allows for 43 inches of legroom.
How Safe is the 2019 Nissan Rogue?
2020 Nissan Rogue Rear Head and Legroom
The 2020 Nissan Rogue proves itself a rear-passenger
friendly vehicle by granting anyone sitting in the back 38.5 inches of headroom.
Hip and shoulder room reach 52.1 and 55.9 inches respectively, so the bench
doesn’t get too cramped when it’s full. Few compact crossovers can match the 37.9
inches of legroom offered by the Rogue.
2020 Nissan Rogue Cargo Space
When it’s just you and up to one passenger, the 2020 Nissan
Rogue is generous with maximum cargo space as well. Fold all the seats down and
you have access to an even 70 cubic feet for furniture, groceries, sport/musical
equipment, and so much more. The Rogue is rated for a total EPA interior volume
of 124 cubic feet, thanks to being stretched to 184.5 inches of total vehicle
length.
